It’s a New Year and, as we see it, an opportunity for those of us who have been a part of Vineyard-at-Home since its inception in March 2015 to step back a bit, examine what God has been doing in and through us thus far, dream together on what Jesus might be asking of us now, and decide together, where He might want to take us in the months ahead.
There are three key reasons for a Time Out right now.
- It’s a new year and an excellent time to review the last 2 years and dream together for the future. (see above paragraph)
- As you know, our host home options are in flux right now, so rather than attempting to zoom forward, let’s stop a moment to regroup and rethink a few things.
- Marty & Sandy, as our key facilitators, have some scheduling conflicts with their 2017 Sustainable Faith traveling schedule, so it’s important for us to address these issues as well.
SO HERE’S THE GAME PLAN.
In January & February, we will be meeting only 2 Sunday mornings per month (see dates below). We will worship together and then focus on three key questions going forward…
Sunday, January 8th – 10 am @ Tony & Annette Nucaro’s 1504 Grizzly Drive NW, Cedar Rapids – Our Theme: An Introduction to Discernment
Sunday, January 22th – 10 am @ Randy & Cindy Dirck’s 4530 Windemere Ct, Marion – Question 1: What have we experienced thus far?
Sunday, February 12th – 10 am @ Buck & Nora Fetter’s 2314 Vista Rd. Cedar Rapids – Question 2: What do we want to have happen going forward?
Sunday, February 26th – 10 am @ Buck & Nora Fetter’s 2314 Vista Rd. Cedar Rapids – Question 3: How do we get to where we want to go?
We hope you will plan to join us for these four important Sunday mornings. It’s our belief that God has some new things planned for us going forward and we want to invite you into the journey ahead!
